Healthy Hydration is just one of many companies out there that operates some form of a high-ticket affiliate marketing program (more about this to come). I found their hydrogen water company while in the process of onboarding for another, more widely known high ticket affiliate marketing program/company - and I'm glad that I switched over!😮‍💨 Ultimately, I align with Healthy Hydration's mission of providing families with hydrogen water, while also adequately filtering the tap water supply. Although some of the other companies I considered were more direct-sales-oriented, rather than recruitment-oriented (which I appreciated), their products faltered where Healthy Hydration's did not. And I wanted to represent the best version of the hydrogen water filter that I could find!

From a business perspective, working with Healthy Hydration has fallen more along the lines of "what I hoped for" versus "what I expected". Which is great!

As soon as you reach out about their affiliate program, you are put in touch with real humans that tell you about their company, products, and mission. They emphasize the fact that support is always given when needed, and the onboarding interview is completed via Zoom with two of the more prominent members of the company (and they are lovely!). There really has been a lot of communication, which is a green flag when it comes to employers. There are multiple team calls each week (recorded if you can't make it live), and a Facebook community where resources and other information are posted. They have ample resources and a training program that you can take at your own pace, which I personally enjoyed. 

Before I go any further, I want to confirm for anyone out there wondering that yes, you do need to buy their affiliate bundle in order to be given the go-ahead to sell their products. I know this angers some individuals, but the point of high-ticket affiliate marketing is to find something you actually want to invest in, so that at the end of the day you still end up with something that fills an essential need in your life. It's a product that comes with an opportunity to make some extra money.💰 

In terms of the business model, Healthy Hydration uses a mixture of direct sales (getting a percentage of the profit from sales) and indirect sales (the recruiting side, in which you get a percentage of the profit from sales that people you recruit make). You can most likely excel at direct sales and be fine with that on a personal level, but the company rewards employees that go hard in the way of recruiting, because they're really trying to expand their audience and reach as many people as possible. It is in fact a multi-level marketing (MLM) model, which people often mistakenly conflate with pyramid schemes. I was definitely sketched out initially, having no previous experience with this type of work. But the job is transparent, and so is the employer.

Full transparency, this isn't a full-time job for me. I saw myself investing in my family's water quality first, and then decided that I would try my hand at making the most of the opportunity it came with, financially!
